Pam and I paid a visit to the Bellingham ITEK Energy manufacturing facility September 23rd and had a nice visit with founder John Flanagan and a tour of the plant with engineers Dean Van Vleet and Eric Schueler. Today they announced state certification of the product as made-in-Washington, so they are on their way to introducing their mono-crystalline PV module to the local market and beyond.  The factory is equipped with two assembly lines, so that output can grow with demand. Puget Sound Solar is offering this new panel and is providing quotes now for systems that incorporate the 240 watt model.

ITEK has a plan in the works to also manufacture an inverter to complete the system; watch here for an announcement of availability.
