Pam and I just returned from the World Renewable Energy Forum, the ASES conference for this year, and as usual we are energized from the outpouring of information and ideas that make these events worth attending.  One of the things we looked at was job growth in the solar sector.  While not quite as robust as anticipated in 2010, solar job growth, at 6.8% in 2011, was ten times more than job growth in the overall economy.

We are most appreciative of our customers for choosing to invest in solar energy at a time when it matters a great deal, not just for the environment, but also for the economy. The information above is contained in a report issued late last year by the Solar Foundation.
