In the past year, we’ve been involved in some cool projects, including the Solarize the Land Trust project where we partnered with several non-profits to bring solar to low-to-moderate income households as part of an effort to address solar inequity issues. In the fall, one of our owners, Jeremy Smithson, received Solar Washington’s inaugural Leadership award, for his decades of advocacy for solar, electric vehicles and sustainability. Jeremy’s worked with elected officials in Seattle and Olympia to craft legislation to promoting clean energy that benefits all of society.
Few solar companies in the country have been in business for 20-years. We’ve watched competitors and equipment manufacturers come and go on the “solar coaster”, but we’ve remained constantly there for our customers as our industry matures. We’re regularly in contact with some of our older customers and are pleased to report their systems are performing as expected, decades later.
