Exciting news for Puget Sound Energy (PSE) customers: the new PSE Flex Batteries Program is here, offering substantial financial incentives and promoting a sustainable energy future. By enrolling your home battery storage system, you can earn a one-time incentive of $1,000 per battery and up to $500 annually for ongoing participation.

Participation is straightforward. If you own a compatible home battery system, such as those from SolarEdge or Tesla, you can enroll in the program. During periods of high energy demand, known as “Flex events,” PSE will utilize your battery to support the grid, all without any required action from you. Your battery will maintain at least 20% capacity, ensuring backup power remains available for your home.

Don’t have a battery yet? PSE enhanced incentives make battery storage systems more accessible, covering up to $10,000 of equipment and installation costs for eligible customers.
